Okay, I’ve done some research and have asked a few people but I want to know if you guys have any advice on this.

Do you know of any ways to keep tinnitus in check?

So far, I know if you drink alcohol, it doesn’t bother you, valium is the same, and I smoke weed.
I have also heard Dramamine works.
So any other ideas?
Please help.

By the way, I’ve asked a doctor friend of mine and he said that mairijuana does help by calming your nerves.
So all you anti-marijuana people, I have a doctor telling me its okay so stop saying it is not.
You do not have a diploma from a recognized medical school.
There is no actual proven fact that marijuana smoke is addictive.
Plus, it is legal for medicinal purposes in many states. So it is not illegal.

Due to the fact that there are so many different remedies on the market and semi-different treatments that you can go through in order to try to get rid of your tinnitus, I need your help to get a different things to find something new and suitable for my tinnitus. thanks

I been suffering major depression and tinnitus for 2.5 years and still all of the treatments i was on were not sufficiently effective. However new treatment that is only available in America and Canada repetitive Trans-cranial Magnetic Stimulation has proved effective for both conditions.(Major Depression and tinnitus). The treatment has been FDA approved in America and is available to public and also it could be covered by government health insurance. Because the treatment is about 6000USD to 7500USD and i am on Disability support pension i would have trouble with financing the treatment. As an Australian citizen would there be any chance that medicare could even partially fund my treatment in America?

Any treatments for the type of tinnitus where its constantly there? I usually hear it when im about to fall asleep or when its silent or w/e. The only time i dont hear it is when im doing something but thats because it doesnt come to mind.

My heart breaks when I have to stand by and watch my daughter battling with ringing in her ears! The tinnitus isn’t the worst of it though, because she battles to fall asleep her overall health seems to be getting worse. It seems to me that because she is so tired and anxious, she can’t sleep for long and always seems to pick up every germ that is doing the rounds. Can this because of her tinnitus? My heart breaks when I have to witness my friend struggling to cope with ringing in her ears! That is not the worst of it though, as she find it hard to fall asleep her general health is also starting to suffer. It seems that as she is always so stressed and up tight, she doesn’t get to sleep much and always seems to catch every infection that is going around. Can this resulting from the tinnitis?
